06 DAYS 05 NIGHTS

DAY 01 - AIRPORT/ NEGOMBO Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, met by "Don Voyage"Representatives and transfer to Browns Beach Hotel - Negombo.
P.m. City Tour of Negombo.
NEGOMBO CITY TOUR The fishing village of Negombo has turned out to be a very popular Tourist Beach Resort, for its Golden Sun kissed Beach that’s fringed with Palm Groves. The amazing fact is that the development of the tourist industry has had no influence to change the originality of the quiet fishing village or the Life style of the inhabitants.
Overnight stay at Hotel in Negombo.
DAY 02 - NEGOMBO / SIGIRIYA
After breakfast, leave for Sigiriya. En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
	ELEPHANT ORPHANGE The foster home of elephants of different age and size feed, bathe, play together and even mate. These great animals have been found injured or left abandoned in the wilderness. Now they even breed in captivity.
Proceed to Sigiriya. P.m. climb the Sigiriya Rock.
	SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS which contains beautiful frescoes of heavenly maidens with flowers and fruit baskets and a palace garden with an intricate irrigation system - Sigiriya is called the 08th Wonder of the World. This was the Royal Citadel of King Kasyapa who ruled in the 5th Century A.D.
Overnight stay at Hotel in Negombo.
DAY 03 - SIGIRIYA / DAMBULLA / KANDY
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Kandy. En route visit the Cave Temples of Dambulla,
	CAVE TEMPLE DAMBULLA which contains more than 150 Statues of the Buddha. This was where a king of the 1st Century B.C. took refuge and latter converted them into a monastery.
Next visit Spice Garden at Matale.
SPICE GARDEN Visit a spice garden at matale which grows spices and herbs used for Sri Lankan cuisine and medication. Spices of Sri Lanka attracted the early sea faring merchants who made the long voyages to purchase this precious merchandise.
CULTURAL DANCE p.m.enjoy a typical Sri Lankan Cultural Show of Drumming Dancing music and fire walking.
Sight seeing of kandy including Upper Lake Drive and visit to Art and Craft Centres.
	TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH RELIC. Next Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists. It was built in the 16th Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic.
Over night Stay at Hotel in Kandy.
DAY 04 - KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya, the misty city is located over 6000 feet above sea level. The drive will be through refreshing Tea Plantations covering the hills like carpets and cascading waterfalls to mesmerize you.
TEA FACTORY Visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory en route. Sri Lanka being famous for its “Ceylon Tea” adding cheer to many the world over for more than a century.
RAMBODA AND GARADIYA ELLA - WATERFALLS En route view the beauty of two falls Ramboda and Garadiya Ella.

rrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. ( Nuwara Eliya is also known as “Little England”)
City Tour of Nuwara Eliya.
NUWARA ELIYA CITY TOUR Drive through the little town of Nuwara Eliya observing the well-maintained buildings of colonial Architecture. Visit the busy market where the tea plantation workers rush in and out with their days provisions. Visit the lake Gregory built for generating power during the British Colonial age but now a feature that adds beauty to the city.
Next visit Sita Amman temple.
SITA AMMAN TEMPLE This Temple considered as one of the oldest is said to mark the spot where Ravana held the queen Sita captive, The streamlet that flows by the rock on which the Temple stands on is supposed to be where the queen Sita bathed. Although the story of Rama Sita and Ravana is a legendary epic poem, the evidence such as this sparks off another dimension to imagination. As a Temple much revered, many stop by and step into invoke blessings and favour from the gods.

DAY 05 - NUWARA ELIYA / KITHULGALA / COLOMBO
After Breakfast, leave for Colombo via Kithulgala.
KITULGALA Kitulgala is little village on one of the routes between Colombo and Nuwara Eliya. The name Kitulgala derived from the word KITUL (fish tail palm) trees that grow in abundance in these parts. The Kelani River that flows through Kitulgala does not only beautifully the village but also attracts tourists for the white water rafting that has become so popular in it. The most important scene of blasting the bridge and train in the famous film “ The Bridge on the River Kwai” was also filmed at Kitulgala and the film site is also a site visited by many tourists. Bandara Kele a patch of nature reserve that has become very popular with bird watchers and Nature lovers.
Next view beautiful of two water falls… Devon Fall and St. Clairs Fall.

Proceed to Colombo. Afternoon at leisure.
Over night Stay at Hotel in Colombo.
DAY 06 - COLOMBO / AIRPORT
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for City Tour of Colombo.
	CITY TOUR & SHOPPING The City Tour will include places of Tourist interest such as Old parliament, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Buddhist Hindu Temple and Town Hall. SHOPPING Shopping at Odel, House of Fashion, Bare foot and etc.
Eveining leave for Airport for Departure...
