Itinerary
DAY 01 : COLOMBO / KANDY
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport , met by "Don
Voyage" Representatives and proceed to Mahaweli Reach Hotel
- Kandy.
ELEPHANT
ORPHANAGE
En route visit the Elephant Orphanage, the foster – home of
elephants of different age and size feeding, bathing, playing together
and even mating. These have been found injured or left abandoned
in the wilderness. There are even little baby calves born in captivity
SPICE
GARDEN
Visit a spice garden at matale which grows spices and herbs used
for Sri Lankan cuisine and medication. Spices of Sri Lanka attracted
the early sea faring merchants who made the long voyages to purchase
this precious merchandise.
P.m. Visit art and craft centre and Gem Bureau where you will be
shown a documentary film on how Sri Lankan Gem mining is traditionally
done
Next enjoy a typical Sri Lankan Cultural Show of Drumming Dancing
music and fire walking.
Sight seeing of kandy including Upper Lake Drive and visit to Art
and Craft Centres.
Next Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This
temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists was
built in the 16th Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing
the tooth relic.

night Stay at Mahaweli Reach Hotel - Kandy.
DAY
02 : KANDY / GOLF
After Breakfast, Transferred to the golf Club for a round of golf.
Sri Lanka newest course in Digana.
VICTORIA
GOLF CLUB , DIGANA
This course is 6’190 m long (par 73) a champion golf course
designed by Donald Steel and inaugurated early in 1999. The fairways
are rather narrow in a hilly country side. Stately trees and avenues
of coconuts lend the course an immediate air maturity. Impressive
natural outcrops of rocks are a distinctive feature and indeed a
hazard of the course. The Victoria Golf Club is situated 25 km east
of Kandy and 150 km from Colombo.

DAY
03 :KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA
After Breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya.
BOTANICAL
GARDEN
En-route visit the Botanical Garden Peradeniya. Which was a pleasure
garden of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century and later made in to
a Botanical Garden during the British regime
Nuwara
Eliya, the misty city is located over 6000 feet above sea level.
The drive will be through refreshing Tea Plantations covering the
hills like carpets and cascading waterfalls to mesmerize you.
TEA FACTORY
Visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory en route. Sri Lanka being
famous for its “Ceylon Tea” adding cheer to many the
world over for more than a century.
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere,
the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. ( Nuwara Eliya
is also known as “Little England”)
In the afternoon transfer to the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club for a round
of golf.

night Stay at Grand Hotel – Nuwara Eliya.
DAY
04 : NUWARA ELIYA / GOLF
After Breakfast, Transferred to the golf Club for a round of golf.
THE
NUWARA ELIYA GOLF CLUB
This course which is reputed to be one of Asia’s finest is
5’520 m (par 71). The fairways are long and narrow and bordered
by air fir trees and thick bushes. It demands skilful “position
play” and the hilly terrain makes it essential that players
can cope with up hill and down hill lies. The Golf Club is 10 minutes
walk from the St. Andrews Hotel and 190 km from Colombo.

DAY
05 : NUWARA ELIYA / COLOMBO
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Colombo via kithulgala.
View
to beauty of two water falls St.clairs fall and Devon Fall.
Next
visit the Film site of “Bridge of The River Kwaii”

at leisure.
Overnight
stay at Ceylon Continental Hotel - Colombo.
DAY
06 : COLOMBO
Breakfast at Hotel.
After Breakfast, Transferred to the golf Club for a round of golf.
THE
ROYAL COLOMBO GOLF CLUB
This
course is 5’770 m long (par 71). A flat course with broad
fairways which looks simple to beginners but there are many water
hazards and well guarded bunkers which quickly change the opinion.
The Royal Colombo Golf Club is easily accessible, being 20 minutes
drive from all first – class hotels in the city.
p.m. City Tour and Shopping
The
City Tour will include places of Tourist interest such as Old parliament,
Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Buddhist Hindu
Temple and Town Hall.
Shopping
Shopping at Odel, House of Fashion, Bare foot etc. at Colombo

DAY
07 : COLOMBO / AIRPORT
Breakfast at Hotel and Leave for Airport for Departure.
