DAY 01 : AIRPORT / KANDY
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport , met by "Don Voyage"
Representatives and proceed to Tree of Life Hotel - Kandy.
En route visit the Elephant Orphanage.
ELEPHANT ORPHANGE
The foster – home of elephants of different age and size feeding,
bathing, playing together and even mating. These have been found injured
or left abandoned in the wilderness. There are even little baby calves
born in captivity.
SPICE
GARDEN
Visit a spice garden at mavanella which grows spices and herbs used for
Sri Lankan cuisine and medication. Spices of Sri Lanka attracted the early
sea faring merchants who made the long voyages to purchase this precious
merchandise.

02 : KANDY / PERADENIYA / KANDY
After Breakfast, leave for Peradeniya.
BOTANICAL
GARDEN
Next visit the Botanical Garden Peradeniya. Which was a pleasure garden
of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century and later made in to a Botanical
Garden during the British regime.
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, the misty city is located over 6000 feet above
sea level.

DAY
032 : KANDY / VICTORIA DAM/ HUNNAS FALLS / KANDY
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for visit Hunnas falls,

25 km from Kandy is a Village called Hunnas Giriya where tea is grown.
Hunnas Falls named after the very village I the pride and fame earning
factor of this quaint tucked away settlement. By the Water Falls is also
a beautiful Hotel names Hunnas Falls Hotel which is certainly a glorious
retreat for honeymooner of the one who want to getaway from it all…
Next visit the Victoria Dam.
VICTORIA
DAM
Built across the Mahaweli River that begin from the famous Adams Peak,
is one of the greatest projects in Power generation of Sri Lanka. The
Drive to the view point is an enchanting one which takes you through landscapes
of scenic beauty.
P.m. Visit art and craft centre
and Gem Bureau where you will be shown a documentary film on how Sri Lankan
Gem mining is traditionally done
enjoy a typical Sri Lankan Cultural
Show of Drumming Dancing music and fire walking.
TEMPLE
OF THE TOOTH OF RELIC
Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple,
the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists was built in the 16th
Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic.
Sight seeing of kandy including
Upper Lake Drive and Boat Ride at Kandy Lake.

04 :KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Nuwara Eliya.
The drive will be through refreshing
Tea Plantations covering the hills like carpets and cascading waterfalls
to mesmerize you.

FACTORY
Visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory en route. Sri Lanka being famous
for its “Ceylon Tea” adding cheer to many the world over for
more than a century.
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted
by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial
air. ( Nuwara Eliya is also known as “Little England”)
SITA
TEMPLE
Leave for Sight Seeing of Nuwara Eliya which includes visits to the 18
Hole Golf course and Sita temple where King Rawana kept Sitadevi.

DAY
05 : NUWARA ELIYA /HORTON PLAINS.
Breakfast at Hotel.
Leave for Horton Plains.

HORTON PLAINS
Located in the highest plateau of Sri Lanka at an elevation of 7,000 feet
above sea level. Usually the plains are visible before 10 a.m. as otherwise
the mist covers the view. The highlight of the Plains is the terrific
escarpment which drops vertically for about 1,000 feet. On a very clear
day, one could view the east horizon too.
Rare species of fauna and flora
are found here. This Plain was once the hunting ground for the British
Governor Mr. Farr. Today the home of Mr. Farr has been turned into a Rest
House and is called “Farr Inn”.

06 : NUWARA ELIYA / COLOMBO.
Breakfast at Hotel, leave for Colombo. Leave for Colombo via Kithulgala.

07 : COLOMBO

The City Tour will include places of Tourist interest such as Old parliament,
Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Buddhist Hindu Temple
and Town Hall.
