Sigiriya - Dambulla - Kandy - Nuwara Eliya - Colombo

DAY 01 - AIRPORT/ SIGIRIYA. Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, met by "Don Voyage" Representatives and transfer to a Hotel in Sigiriya.
Check in Hotel. P.m. Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
	SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS which contains beautiful frescoes of heavenly maidens with flowers and fruit baskets and a palace garden with an intricate irrigation system - Sigiriya is called the 08th Wonder of the World. This was the Royal Citadel of King Kasyapa who ruled in the 5th Century A.D.
Over night Stay at Hotel in Sigiriya.
DAY 02 - SIGIRIYA / DAMBULLA / KANDY.
Leave for Kandy.En route visit the Cave Temples of Dambulla,
	CAVE TEMPLES which contains more than 150 Statues of the Buddha. This was where a king of the 1st Century B.C. took refuge and latter converted them into a monastery.
Next
SPICE GARDEN Visit a spice garden at matale which grows spices and herbs used for Sri Lankan cuisine and medication. Spices of Sri Lanka attracted the early sea faring merchants who made the long voyages to purchase this precious merchandise.
p.m. visit art and craft centre and Gem Bureau where you will be shown a documentary film on how Sri Lankan Gem mining is traditionally done.
CULTURAL DANCE enjoy a typical Sri Lankan Cultural Show of Drumming Dancing music and fire walking.
Next Visit Temple of the Tooth Relic if Lord Buddha.
	TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH RELIC. Next Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists. It was built in the 16th Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic.

DAY 03 - KANDY / HUNNAS FALLS / PINNAWALA.
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Hunnasgiriya to view beauty of Hunnas Waterfall.
	HUNNAS FALLS 25 km from Kandy is a Village called Hunnas Giriya where tea is grown. Hunnas Falls named after the very village is the pride and fame earning factor of this quaint tucked away settlement. By the Water Falls is also a beautiful Hotel names Hunnas Falls Hotel which is certainly a glorious retreat for honeymooner or the one who want to getaway
from it all…
Next prcocced to Pinnawala.
	ELEPHANT ORPHANGE Pinnawala, Visit the Elephant Orphanage, the foster – home of elephants of different age and size feeding, bathing, playing together and even mating. These have been found injured or left abandoned in the wilderness. There are even little baby calves born in captivity.
Next Sight seeing of kandy including Upper Lake Drive and visit to Art and Craft Centres.
Over night Stay at Hotel in Kandy.
DAY 04 - KANDY / PERADENIYA / NUWARA ELIYA.
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Nuwara Eliya.En route visit Botanical Garden.
	BOTANICAL GARDEN En-route visit the Botanical Garden Peradeniya. Which was a pleasure garden of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century and later made in to a Botanical Garden during the British regime. This gardens, one of the best in Asia is a place of beauty and site for bird watchers.
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya. uwara Eliya, the misty city is located over 6000 feet above sea level. The drive will be through refreshing Tea Plantations covering the hills like carpets and cascading waterfalls to mesmerize you.
En route visit water falls at ramboda.
	RAMBODA AND GARADIYA ELLA - WATERFALLS En route view the beauty of two falls Ramboda and Garadiya Ella.

TEA FACTORY Visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory en route. Sri Lanka being famous for its “Ceylon Tea” adding cheer to many the world over for more than a century.
arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere. Observe the well preserved colonial architecture of bungalows that were the homes of Lords, Governor's and Planters who pioneered the "Ceylon Tea" drive.( Nuwara Eliya is also known as "Little England") Leave for Sight Seeing of Nuwara Eliya which includes visits to the 18 Hole Golf course, Race Course .
NUWARA ELIYA CITY TOUR Drive through the little town of Nuwara Eliya observing the well-maintained buildings of colonial Architecture. Visit the busy market where the tea plantation workers rush in and out with their days provisions. Visit the lake Gregory built for generating power during the British Colonial age but now a feature that adds beauty to the city.
Next visit Sita Amman temple.
SITA AMMAN TEMPLE This Temple considered as one of the oldest is said to mark the spot where Ravana held the queen Sita captive, The streamlet that flows by the rock on which the Temple stands on is supposed to be where the queen Sita bathed. Although the story of Rama Sita and Ravana is a legendary epic poem, the evidence such as this sparks off another dimension to imagination. As a Temple much revered, many stop by and step into invoke blessings and favour from the gods.

DAY 05 - NUWARA ELIYA / COLOMBO.
After Breakfast, leave for Colombo via Kithulgala.
KITULGALA Kitulgala is little village on one of the routes between Colombo and Nuwara Eliya. The name Kitulgala derived from the word KITUL (fish tail palm) trees that grow in abundance in these parts. The Kelani River that flows through Kitulgala does not only beautifully the village but also attracts tourists for the white water rafting that has become so popular in it. The most important scene of blasting the bridge and train in the famous film “ The Bridge on the River Kwai” was also filmed at Kitulgala and the film site is also a site visited by many tourists. Bandara Kele a patch of nature reserve that has become very popular with bird watchers and Nature lovers.
Next view beautiful of two water falls… Devon Fall and St. Clairs Fall.
	DEVON AND ST. CLAIRS - WATERFALLS
Proceed to Colombo. p.m. City Tour and Shopping
	CITY TOUR & SHOPPING The City Tour will include places of Tourist interest such as Old parliament, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Buddhist Hindu Temple and Town Hall. SHOPPING Shopping at Odel, House of Fashion, Bare foot and etc.
Overnight stay at Hotel in Colombo.
DAY 06 - COLOMBO / AIR PORT.
After Breakfast leave for Airport for Departure.
