Kandy - Nuwara Eliya - Katharagama - Induruwa - Colombo

DAY 01 - AIRPORT / KANDY Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, met by "Don Voyage" Representatives and transfer to a Hotel in Kandy.
En route visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela.
	ELEPHANT ORPHANGE Pinnawala, Visit the Elephant Orphanage, the foster – home of elephants of different age and size feeding, bathing, playing together and even mating. These have been found injured or left abandoned in the wilderness. There are even little baby calves born in captivity.
Next Visit the Spice Gardens.
SPICE GARDEN Visit a spice garden at mavanella which grows spices and herbs used for Sri Lankan cuisine and medication. Spices of Sri Lanka attracted the early sea faring merchants who made the long voyages to purchase this precious merchandise.
Check in Hotel and relax few hours.
p.m. visit art and craft centre and Gem Bureau where you will be shown a documentary film on how Sri Lankan Gem mining is traditionally done.
CULTURAL DANCE enjoy a typical Sri Lankan Cultural Show of Drumming Dancing music and fire walking.
Sight seeing of kandy including Upper Lake Drive and visit to Art and Craft Centres.
Over night Stay at Hotel in Kandy.
DAY 02 - KANDY / HUNNAS FALLS / VICTORIA DAM
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Hunnasgiriya to view beauty of Hunnas Waterfall.
	HUNNAS FALLS 25 km from Kandy is a Village called Hunnas Giriya where tea is grown. Hunnas Falls named after the very village is the pride and fame earning factor of this quaint tucked away settlement. By the Water Falls is also a beautiful Hotel names Hunnas Falls Hotel which is certainly a glorious retreat for honeymooner or the one who want to getaway

Next visit Victoria Dam...
VICTORIA DAM Built across the Mahaweli River that begin from the famous Adams Peak, is one of the greatest projects in Power generation of Sri Lanka. The Drive to the view point is an enchanting one which takes you through landscapes of scenic beauty.
Next visit Temple of the tooth relic of Lord Buaddha.
	TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH RELIC. Next Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists. It was built in the 16th Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic.
Over night Stay at Hotel in Kandy.
DAY 03 - KANDY / PERADENIYA / NUWARA ELIYA.
After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya. En route visit Botanical Garden...
	BOTANICAL GARDEN Which was a pleasure garden of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century and later made in to a Botanical Garden during the British regime. This gardens, one of the best in Asia is a place of beauty and site for bird watchers.
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya. uwara Eliya, the misty city is located over 6000 feet above sea level. The drive will be through refreshing Tea Plantations covering the hills like carpets and cascading waterfalls to mesmerize you.
En route visit water falls at ramboda.
	RAMBODA AND GARADIYA ELLA - WATERFALLS En route view the beauty of two falls Ramboda and Garadiya Ella.

TEA FACTORY Visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory en route. Sri Lanka being famous for its “Ceylon Tea” adding cheer to many the world over for more than a century.
arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere. Observe the well preserved colonial architecture of bungalows that were the homes of Lords, Governor's and Planters who pioneered the "Ceylon Tea" drive.( Nuwara Eliya is also known as "Little England") Leave for Sight Seeing of Nuwara Eliya which includes visits to the 18 Hole Golf course, Race Course .
NUWARA ELIYA CITY TOUR Drive through the little town of Nuwara Eliya observing the well-maintained buildings of colonial Architecture. Visit the busy market where the tea plantation workers rush in and out with their days provisions. Visit the lake Gregory built for generating power during the British Colonial age but now a feature that adds beauty to the city.
Next visit Sita Amman temple.
SITA AMMAN TEMPLE This Temple considered as one of the oldest is said to mark the spot where Ravana held the queen Sita captive, The streamlet that flows by the rock on which the Temple stands on is supposed to be where the queen Sita bathed. Although the story of Rama Sita and Ravana is a legendary epic poem, the evidence such as this sparks off another dimension to imagination. As a Temple much revered, many stop by and step into invoke blessings and favour from the gods.

DAY 04 - NUWARA ELIYA / KATHARAGAMA
After breakfast leave for Katharagama.
En route stop at Ella Grand Motel to enjoy the view of the famous ella gap, Also view the beauty of the Ravana Falls as you descend to the low lands.
Next visit Buduruwagala.
	BUDURUWAGALA. The rock carvings of Buduruwagala are believed to be over a Thousand years old The rock carvings of Buduruwagala are believed to be over a Thousand years old. There are seven figurers carved in high relief on a Rock that rises beyond the stream and the tallest one is of the Buddha, which is 51 feet tall.
p.m. attend to pooja at Katharagama.(07.00 p.m)
Over night Stay at Hotel in Katharagama.
DAY 05 - KATHARAGAMA / GALLE / INDURUWA
Breakfast at Hotel. Leave for Galle. En route Safari in Yala National Park.
	RUHUNUN NATIONAL PARK. visit Ruhunu National Park at Yala. This will include a Safari tour by jeep with a jungle tracker, where you can see animals in the Jungle; including elephants , Bears, Wild boar, Dear, Buffalo, Monkeys and many other animals if you are lucky, leopards too. You also could see different species of birds.
Proceed to Induruwa.Next visit Galle
	GALLE DUTCH FORTRESS An ancient city which is now a modern and buzzing town today. It was the most important sea port way back in history, where the sea faring merchants arrived to trade and barter. This is also where the Portuguese first set foot in the year 1505 and built a fortress, Which was later captured and fortified by the Dutch. The fortress is one of the best
preserved in the island. A visit to the fortress and to watch the sunset from the rampart is an experience unforgettable The oldest Protestant church in the country called the "Groote Kirk" built by the Dutch is located inside the Fort. It is situated close to New Oriental Hotel also built by them as the Governor's Residence in 1684.
Next Visit the Turtle Hatchery.
	TURTLE HATCHERY Projects have been launched to conserve the population of turtles that are reaching extinction and such projects are found along the southern coast of Sri Lanka where turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. The turtle digs a hole on the Beach, Lays hers eggs and covers it with sand where it is supposed to, incubate by the heat of the sun. What
often happens is, the eggs are dug out by fisherman and sold to people who consume them.But now the eggs are bought up by the conservation projects and are hatched the Natural way in enclosed areas where the Birds don’t have a chance of picking them up and the babies are let in to the sea after two days at night time which offers them a better chance of survival.

DAY 06 - INDURUWA / COLOMBO
Breakfast at Hotel. A.M. at Leisure..
Afternoon leave for Colombo.
	CITY TOUR & SHOPPING The City Tour will include places of Tourist interest such as Old parliament, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Buddhist Hindu Temple and Town Hall. SHOPPING Shopping at Odel, House of Fashion, Bare foot and etc.
Overnight stay at Hotel in Colombo.
DAY 07 - COLOMBO / AIR PORT.
After Breakfast leave for Airport for Departure.
